I happened to notice this clinging to my kitchen wall today. It is a piece of Rice Chex. But not just any ordinary cereal tibit. It was dried...more like petrified. And glued securely in place. Don't know how long it's been there, but I injured myself trying to scrape it off with a butterknife. My hand slipped and I cut my knuckle on one of it's sharp corners. Drew blood and everything. Then I tried putting a wet cloth on it to soak it off. I tried spraying it with a multi-purpose cleaner. It is still there.

use your laser-beam eyes to burn it off, Supermom! :-) just kidding. :-) what a lovely addition to your kitchen wall. you could always use it to create a larger piece of artwork or something. just some ideas. :-) sorry about your knuckle. seems like that little piece of rice chex has a little hostility about being removed.

Its modern art - expressing the expereinces of child development and the constant bewilderment of adults facing their own childhood repeated before them. Touching yet tragic. I give it a five stars (out of five).

I'm with everyone else -- go buy yourself a frame to put around it and call it a "conversation piece". When you sell it for hundreds of thousands, you can easily cut out that piece of sheetrock and have it repaired later!

Laughing hard! You guys are hilarious. I'm thinking that I might have some priceless art around my kitchen too. ;) Wish I had laser-beam eyes...

Hey Supermom-- do you still want help adding links to your site?

TOFTG - Yup! Did you get my email?

Hey-I didn't. Someone told me that the email address that I have on file with blogger is bad. Try again with rayzerbacks6@hotmail.com.

Just to make things really confusing, my email has an "e" in rayzerbacks6 and my blog address has an "o" in rayzorbackfamily... (Someone had taken the "o" name for their hotmail address...)

I'm subbing at the school this afternoon- so I may not get to it until later.

I know this is late, but I don't care. ROFLOL! I was in tears before I could get past the announcement that it was a piece of Rice Chex!

I need to breath into a paper bag now.

Make that "breathe" into a paper bag.
