Bevy of Bows

Okay, a person can only make so many bows for two girls.

The lid on our bow box won't close. I mean, it will, but the bows will be smashed and squashed like pancakes. These are only the french clip bows. The alligator clip bows are hanging up.

Yes, I have a problem.

So, I've decided to take the plunge and open my own online bow business. I will keep you posted about where and when. I'm hoping to have it up and running by October.

These are my latest concoctions:

Actually, I noticed the picture of the brown and blue one is upside down, but you get the gist.

Ohmygosh. I'm not usually a bow person but I would TOTALLY put that brown and blue one on all of my girls. It is delicious. If you make them, I will buy them.

P.S. Camryn (my seven year old) just walked by and said she would wear all of them. She loves them. So get to work!

Very very nice :) You have quite a variety! I'd love to buy some but you'd have to deliver in person and help me sit on my boys to try them out ;) Good luck selling! xoxo melzie

I love your bows! Too bad I wasn't blessed with a girl...you don't think my dh would be too disturbed by his 2 year old son with a bow in his hair do you?!? LOL!! Luckly I have 5 nieces! I can't wait til you get up and running! I know what my nieces are going to get for Christmas!

I'm not very good at crafty things like making bows. I'm so excited that you're going to be selling your cute stuff. My daughter starts kindergarten this month and is in need of new hair accessories. From the comments, it sounds like you'll have lots of business!

WATCH OUT!!! This is a contagious disease. It will cause you to have chills and delusions. You will see spots (and stripes and checks and prints)!!! You will find yourself rearranging your schedule to make time for this habit. And as the additction progresses you will find yourself desperate for ways to make money to support your need for MORE BOWS! BEWARE!!!!!!!

My favorite it is the brown and blue too! Don't guess I'll be buying any though. I don't think my two boys would take too kindly to that. Best of luck. Keep up posted.

You should post a pic of the back of your head or the back of Sister's head with one on, so we can see what they look like on. They do look really professional. Best of luck!

You're a Bow Genius!

I'm also loving the brown + anything combo. Keep the Gymboree collections in mind ... Big Sells!

Can't wait for your startup!

I also have to add that I love the two small ones. My Peach has cotton candy hair and those bigger sizes won't stay in. *sniff*

Yes, I agree with But Momma. I have a little pixie (2) with fine hair and finding ittie bitty cutsie bows is hard.

I posted my pic...my bow wasn't as pretty as the ones you make, but it was a mighty bow. And I had one in my hair every.single.day.
