It Was A Good Year

So last night, while doing my annual "Rummage-Through-the-Kids'-Halloween-Candy-After-They-Go-To-Bed" ritual, I made a delightful discovery.

Mmmmmm...lots of good stuff.

To all my neighbors out there who opted for chocolate this Halloween instead of the old standbys of Skittles, Dum-Dums and Starlight Mints, especially Ms. Cindy across the street who gave us full sized Hershey bars, I thank you.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.

my head hurts from the sugar overload that all of my 7th grade students were experiencing today. so far, that has not stopped me from trying to cure it with some of that yummy chocolate my little superheros gathered last night. btw, now i know why we are supposed to be friends! happy late libra b-day...oct. 18th for me!

I too noticed the upscale nature of this year's candy treats -- much to my tastebuds delight and my waistline's dismay. LOL!

Four pumpkins full of candy and Oprah kills it for me by having the diet Dr. on to say that sugar is the devil.

Ditto!

And to all the trick-or-treaters who did NOT came to my door, thus leaving all of the m&m bags for me, thank you!!

You know what's really great? When you have multiple children and you get even more of that yummy chocolatey goodness ;)
