All I Want For Christmas

My kids have this sixth sense. When the weather turns cooler, they know Christmas is just around the corner. And so they begin compiling their lists, which will include every toy (no matter how lame) they see advertised on TV.

Yesterday we were all watching TV and happened to see a commercial for the Swiffer Sweep/Vac.

They were enthralled.

And being the thoughtful, kind children they are, they thought of me.

"Mom!" exclaims Brother. "You need one of those! It's the new way to clean!"

To which Sister replied, "Maybe you can get that for Christmas!"

One can only dream...

Truthfully, it is on MY list. ;) But lets hope Santa brings you some gifts with a little more fun attached to them!

Oh what a great Christmas we would have if left to our children's devices!

In our house, the kids aren't the only ones who start thinking of Christmas when it gets chilly outside. (FINALLY! We had a 95 degree record high last week!)

I was out shopping with my 14 month old daughter, and your's truly was the one transfixed and enchanted by the Barbie's "12 Dancing Princesses" display!

If you're a REALLY good girl, maybe Santa will bring you a Flylady duster too?...And a Dyson Vacuum?

I actually would like to have one of those however not as a Christmas present. LOL!

I must confess I want one, too. I was transfixed when I saw the commercial, and all I could think was how much like a kid I was...all I was missing was the drooling and the 'I want that!' whine...

Laura always gets excited when those commericals come on too! yesterday we went to Target and had to get some Windex Wipes for the auto, so she got to look around at all the fun stuff on the cleaning aisles...walked away with a fresh scent lint roller, cotton scent lisol, and wet-ones. what a trip!

ps--laura's made a new post!

I have one of those and love it. It works great to get all of the doggie hair off of the wood floors. Plus as an added bonus- no more having to bend over and sweep the floor gunk into a dust pan and chasing that gunk line across of the floor!

Those things are fine, but I had two break on me over nothing. Be careful . . be very careful. :)
