Lamenting Algebra...Again

It's down to the wire now. After two semesters of non-credit preporatory Algebra classes, I am finally in College Algebra. After this semester, I will wash my hands of math classes and will be the bonafide ownder of a...

Drum roll, please...

Associates of Liberal Arts degree.

Then it's on to the Big Kids College for the B.A.

But for the next twelve weeks I will be sweating through Algebra yet again. Only this time, it counts. Whatever I make goes straight to my transcript.

Yikes.

Tomorrow morning is my first College Algebra test.

I should be studying.

But I don't wanna.

I hate Algebra.

I have total and complete faith. Trust me- if at 43 I can remember enough Algebra to teach my two high schoolers, you can learn it from someone who autally knows what they're talking about :)

Seriously, you can't really "study" algebra. Or at least I couldn't but hey, that's probably why I did so lousy! I'm so proud of you!!! Keep it up girl and I'll be there cheering you on as you walk across that stage!

Oh my goodness I dislike math soooo much! Even now at my completely non-math related job it makes me skin crawl to add up any sort of number. Good luck with College Algebra - take your time, you can do it!

I just bought a book called Painless Algebra because my oldest is taking algebra this eyar and my second will take it next. I figured I should at least have some kind of basic understanding...

Bravo to you! Keep up the good work and good humor and 12 weeks will pass quickly!
